为深化人文交流、推动文明互鉴，展示真实、立体、全面的中国，展现来华留学生的良好精神风貌，《当代世界》杂志社与中国新华新闻电视网、中国路桥工程有限责任公司组成组委会，联合主办“感受中国新时代”主题征文、摄影和短视频大奖赛。为展示我校来华留学生风采，确保赛事工作的有序进行，现将选拔赛工作安排如下：
To promote exchanges and mutual learning between civilizations, and present a true, multi-dimensional, and panoramic view of China, Contemporary World magazine, together with China Xinhua News Network Corporation and China Road & Bridge Corporation (as an organizing committee), holds "Understanding China's New Era" Themed Essay, Photography and Short Video Contest for International Students in China. In order to show the presence of international students in ouruniversityand ensure the orderly progress of the competition, the work arrangement of the audition is as follows.
一、活动主题Theme
以“感受中国新时代”为主题，具体题目自拟，要求反映来华留学生、留华毕业生对近十年来中国各方面情况的看法和认识，以亲身体验和切身感受讲述他们眼中的中国新时代。The theme of the contest is understanding China's New Era. The specific topic is drafted by oneself, all the essays, photography and short videosmustreflect the views of international students and graduates on China in recent decade, and record their experiences and feelings in China's New Era.
二、参赛对象Contestants
我校目前就读的来华留学生（含因疫情等原因尚未返华的留学生）和2012年后毕业的留华毕业生。
The international students currently studying inour university(including students who cannot return to China due to COVID-19 pandemic) and those who graduated after 2012 and live in China now.
三、赛事要求Requirements
本次赛事采用征文、摄影作品、短视频同时征集的方式进行，参赛人员可参加其中一项或多项比赛。参赛作品以真实生活和切身感受为创作基础，均须原创，未在其他书、报、刊、网站、新媒体平台公开发表，也未向其他同类比赛投稿。
Essays, photography and short videos within the theme are welcomed and contestants can choose one or more forms. All the works used should be original and based on real life and experiences, with no publication on other books, newspapers, magazines, networks and new media, neither should the works be contributed to other similar contests.
(一)征文要求
1.围绕活动主题，题目自拟。以来华留学生视角讲述2012年以来在中国学习、生活、工作的亲身经历、感受和见闻。可涉及社会生活的各个领域，叙说中国的经济发展、科技成果、自然风光、城市建设、人文交往等，讲述真实鲜活的中国故事。
2.征文体裁不限，篇幅1000-2000字，作品建议以中文撰写，字体格式建议采用宋体、四号字、1.5倍行距。
(1)Essays
I.Within the scope of the theme, and with a title of contestants' own choice, the works contributed can cover international students' personal experience, feelings and knowledge of studying, living and working in China since 2012. All fields of social life can be involved, including China's economic development, scientific and technological achievements, natural scenery, urban construction, cultural exchanges, etc..
II.There is no limit to the style of the essay, with a length of 1000-2000 words. It is recommended that the works be written in Chinese. The recommended font format is Song, 14-point and 1.5-spaced.
(二)摄影要求
1.围绕活动主题，用镜头捕捉在华或与中国有关的真实瞬间。作品内容可以是校园生活、大众人物、自然风光、风土人情等，拍摄地为中国境内或与中国元素相关的其他国家和地区。
2.作品要求构思新颖、画面清晰、布局合理，具有一定的艺术表现力。摄影作品黑白、彩色均可，须附作品简要说明，100字以内为宜。每人提交不超过2件作品，单幅照片和组照（每组不超过了3张，按1件计算）均可。
3.摄影作品一律采用JPG格式，压缩文件不低于5M。
(2)Photography
I.On the theme of the contest, use the lens to capture real moments in or related to China. The content of the work can be campus life, public figures, natural scenery, local customs, etc., and the shooting location is in China or other countries and regions related to Chinese elements.
II.The works require novel ideas, clear pictures, reasonable layout, and certain artistic expression. Photographic works can be in black and white or in color, and a brief description of the work must be attached, preferably within 100 words. Each contestant submits no more than 2 works, both single photo and group photos (no more than 3 photos per group, counted as 1 piece) are welcomed.
III.Photographs must be in JPG format, and the compressed file should not be less than 5M.
(三)短视频要求
1.围绕活动主题，以来华留学生视角记录在中国学习、生活、工作中的所见所闻所感，生动反映对2012年以来中国各领域发展变化的感受和体会。
2.作品时长3分钟左右，具体呈现形式不限，剧情短片、微电影、微纪录片、vlog 等均可。作品分辨率不得低于720P，接受AVI、MOV、WMV、MP4、RMVB等主流视频格式文件。作品语种为中文或英文；如使用其他语种，须附加中文或英文字幕。
3.可以个人或团队名义参赛。鼓励外国留学生与中国学生组成团队进行创作，在校留学生作品可有指导教师参与。
(3)Short videos
I.Focusing on the theme, international students can record what you have seen, heard and felt in your study, life and work in China, vividly reflecting your feelings and experience of the development and changes in various fields in China since 2012.
II.The duration of the work is about 3 minutes, and the specific presentation form is not limited, including short narrative, micro film, micro documentary, Vlog, etc.. The resolution of the work should not be lower than 720P, and mainstream video formats such as AVI, MOV, WMV, MP4 and RMVB are accepted. The language used in the work should be Chinese or English; if other languages are used, Chinese or English subtitles must be attached.
III.The contest can be participated both individually and as a team. We encourage international students and Chinese students to form a team to create the works, and the works of international students can be instructed by faculty advisers.
四、投稿方式与截止时间Submission and Deadline
参赛选手请将作品发送至邮箱：284769521@qq.com。邮件标题统一格式为：征文/摄影/短视频-学号-护照姓名-国籍-作品标题。
1.征文、摄影作品提交截止时间：2022年5月10日；
2.短视频作品提交截止时间：2022年6月10日。

五、奖项设置Awards Setting
1.征文类设一等奖5名、二等奖10名、三等奖20名，颁发获奖证书，奖金分别为1500元、1000元、500元；
2.摄影类设一等奖5名、二等奖10名、三等奖20名，颁发获奖证书，奖金分别为1000元、600元、300元；
3.短视频类设一等奖5名、二等奖10名、三等奖20名，颁发获奖证书，奖金分别为8000元、5000元、2000元。

六、比赛说明Rules and Instructions
1.在华留学生每班按照人数比例推荐一定数量的作品。
2.根据比赛要求，为促进中外人文交流，短视频团队学校将采取中外学生联合组队方式，并配备专业老师一对一指导。
3.学校将对征文、摄影、短视频进行评选，优秀的作品将会推荐到组委会，学校将对获奖作品额外予以奖励。
4.组委会将于2022年8月25日至8月31日在“当代世界”官网（http://www.ddsjcn.com）、国家留学基金委官网（http://www.csc.edu.cn）对最终评选结果进行公示，并对获奖个人和集体进行表彰。
5.获奖作品将在《当代世界》中、英文刊和“CPC WORKS”英文微信公众号、国家留学基金委官网、中国新华新闻电视网客户端和自有平台等主办方媒体平台陆续推广宣传。
6.本次赛事征文、摄影、短视频获奖作品，作者享有著作权和署名权，赛事组委会享有使用权。主办单位有权将相关作品用于出版、宣传、展览等用途，不再另付稿酬。
7.参赛人员应对参赛作品拥有充分、完全、排他的著作权，不侵犯第三方的肖像权、名誉权等其他知识产权以及个人所有权。
1.Each class recommends a certain number of works in proportion to the number ofinternationalstudents in theuniversity.
2.According to the requirements of the competition, in order to promote cultural exchanges between China and foreign countries, the short video team will adopt the way of joint formation of Chinese and Interlational students, and professional teachers will provide one-on-one guidance.
3.Essays, photography and short videos will be selected bythe university.Excellent works will be recommended to the organizing Committee.The school will give additional awards to the winning works.
4.The result will be announced from August 25 to August 31, 2022, on the official website of Contemporary World magazine (http://www.ddsjcn.com) and the official website of China Scholarship Council (https://www.csc.edu.cn).
5.The awarded works will be promoted in the Chinese and English editions of Contemporary World, the English WeChat account Scholarship Council, the APPs of China Xinhua News Network, etc..
6.The author has the copyright and the right of authorship, and the organizing committee has the right of use. The organizer has the right to use the relevant works for publication, publicity, exhibition and other purposes, and no additional remuneration will be paid.
7.Participants shall have full, complete and exclusive copyrights for the submitted works, and shall not infringe other intellectual property rights such as portrait rights and reputation rights of third parties, as well as personal ownership.
