来华故事：
教育的价值是我从小就知道的，它是社会的重要组成部分。教育对一个人的生活至关重要，有人说:“如果你认为教育昂贵，那就试试无知。”这说明了当今社会对高水平教育的需求，现在各种各样的教育机构建立起来，也揭示这一点。当我从基础教育到高水平教育，获得的知识告诉我，有了正确而充足的知识，是可以成就自己的人生的。而对我影响至今的一件事是我有机会代表学校参加国家科学与数学测验，这是我不会忘记的经历之一，因为它创造了我对教育的热情和热爱，我也因此发现了我的人生目标。
能够来到长江大学学习临床医学，对我来说是一个非常难得的机会，我全心全意、毫无保留地抓住了这个机会，从加纳来到中国是一个巨大的挑战。我还记得我刚到长江大学的时候，一些高年级学生是如何的乐于助人，他们帮我准备过冬的东西，还有给我他们看过的书。我也无法忘记老师们总是关心我们的学习和生活。而我为了不让我的父母和那些相信我的人失望，我在各方面都尽我所能做到最好。在学术上，我努力学习专业知识，去实现成为一名医生的梦想。在生活中，我也积极参加学校组织的课外活动，多年来，我从事体育活动，并在比赛中取得了成功并获得了荣誉。我的家人为了让我专注学习做出了很多牺牲，我现在有机会去报答他们，我想让我的父母为我感到骄傲。
我在长江大学的经历是非常有趣的，其中一件真正引起我注意的事情是中国人如何珍惜他们的文化遗产，如博物馆，中国长城和当地制作的中国食物。这些事情让我在中国的这段旅程充满了冒险，我将永远记住这段旅程。
非常感谢国际学生办公室注意到我的努力，并在我的年级中选择了我作为教育部奖学金的获得者。我将一如既往地努力学习，不辜负大家对我的期望。我将代表个例，激励其他的同学，这对我继续学习的激情有重大的积极影响，非常感谢。无论在哪里，我都会尽我最大的努力成为这所伟大学校的一名优秀代表。
The value of education is something that I have understood to be very important in society since growing up. Education is key in an individual’s life and creates a very strong foundation for him/her as well. It is said that “if you think education is expensive, try ignorance”. This enforces the need for high level of education and as such various institutions have been setup to bring this to light. As I walked through the cycles of education from basic education up to this level, gaining knowledge and understanding showed to me that it is possible to achieve a lot in life with the correct and adequate knowledge. One of the incidents that has shaped me to date was when I had the opportunity to be a part of the individuals that represented my school in the National Science and Math Quiz. This is one of the experiences I will not forget as it created in me the zeal and the love for education as I found great purpose in that. As such, I really took it upon myself to be the best I can in the field of my education. One thing I learned about myself was thatI ama good student andassuch I would want to maximize my potential to give back to the society what it invested in mefrom childhood. I plan to serve my era in the field of medicine as I go through systematic tutelage and mentorship in this University. I strongly believe that this is achievable and I will strive to make this goal a reality.
Being given the opportunity to study further inClinical Medicineat Yangtze University is a great opportunity for me and one that I have seized wholeheartedly without reservation. I have consistently proven throughout the previous years of my study that when given an opportunity, I will strive as hard as I can to best represent myself and be grateful to the individuals who guided me to achievesuch feat. My experience in Yangtze University has been quite fascinating one. One of the things that really caught my attention is how the Chinese upheld their cultural heritage, showing dedication towards their numerous festivities and not forgetting the interesting sceneries such asthemuseum, The Great wall of Chinaand the locally made Chinese foods. Thesethings havemade my stay in China an adventurous one and its one that I will always have memories of.I will be ungrateful not to talk about the many teachers I have encountered since I came to this school, how they have been hardworking trying their very best that we understand the concept of what is being taught. I also remember how some of the seniors were so helpful when I had just arrived, helping me to get stuff to prepare me for the winter and others giving me their books because I wanted to study.I cannot forget how our teachers were so concerned about us during winter seasons,always telling us to wear more clothes to keep us warm.Additionally, I have been active also in the extracurricular activities that are organized by the school over the past few years and unreservedly came out besting my competitors. Over the years, I engaged in sporting activities of which I came out successful and won honors during the competition. My goal unreservedly is to be the best I can onin all aspects.This in turn is a huge motivation for me asitpushes me to do my best and come out with excellent results.I believe the remaining years I have in this school will fetch me more memorable experiences.
Relocating from Ghana to China for the duration of my program of study presents a huge challenge and while it is one that I am fully committed to, I will be doing my utmost bestnot toletdown my parents and those who believe in me. This affectsmy participation and concentration required to gain as much as I can from my program of study. As an individual, I am committed to ensuring that I achieve success in my academics. My family has made a lot of sacrifices to allow me focus on my education throughout primary and secondary school. I now have this opportunity to attend theuniversity to pursue my passion and my ambition to become amedicalpractitioner.Being successful is very important to me and in view of thatI alwayswant to make my parents proud. Thanks to their unwavering support, I am at this level of my education and facing financial constraints can certainly affect my hope of being successful.
I would like to say a big thank you to the International Student Office for noticing my hard work and selecting me as a winner of the Ministry of Education Scholarshipfrom my academic year group.I will continuously apply the same efforts and diligence to my studies as I have to this present day, making my education my priority. I will represent an example of an individual worthy of receiving honors as a result of excellent academic performance as well as an inspiration to upcoming students.Significant positive impact on my ability to continue in school and will be greatly appreciated. Iwill do my best to be a good representative to this honorable school wherever I find myself. Long live Yangtze University, Long live China.
